Admission Arrangements
(A) Application for the “2024/25 Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission”
Parents are required to submit an application for the “2024/25 Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” (hereafter referred as “2024/25 RC”) to Education Bureau (EDB) between September to November, 2023. The “2024/25 RC” will be open for applications in September 2023 and EDB will announce and upload the details of application onto EDB’s website (link to be inserted) in due course. Application forms can be obtain from Home Affairs Department or Post Office.
EDB will issue the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” as the document for registration in the 2024/25 school year.
(B) K1 Admission Process in the 2024/25 School Year is as follows:
1. Download from EDB or school website start from 1st of August 2023
2.There is no limit for distribution of application forms (There is no limit on application submission.)
Submit Application Form:
-1st August, 2023 to 31st October, 2023 (Office hours)
-There is no limit for receiving application forms (There is no limit on application submission.)
Office hour：
-Monday to Friday： 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
-Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
Submit the Application Documents:
1. Completed application form
2. A copy of Birth Certificate or any identity documents of the applicant
3. A copy of MCHC Immunization Record of the applicant (both front page and back page)
4. One recent photo(size in 2 inches’ X 1.5 inches’) of the application and write down (label) applicant’s name at the back of the photo
5. Four $3 stamped envelopes (4 inches’ x 9 inches’) with your child’s name and self-addressed written on them.
6. Application fee $40 HKD (the application fee is non-refundable whether the application is success or not)
Arrangement for Interview：
The interview day will be on November. The applicants will receive the interview letter by post around mid-October. The applicants will be arrange in small group and parents should accompany the child for the interview.
Admission Criteria
-The applicant with sibling(s) currently studying in the kindergarten or graduate.
-Interview performance (such as polite, self-care, speaking, understanding, observation, etc.)
-Priorities are given to the families that require the services (such as those with working parents) and those who are having genuine need for whole day services due to their special circumstances such as families which need to take care of persons with disability at home.
(C) Announcement of Admission Results
-The results of K1 admission will be notified by post after two weeks from the interview date. (Please contact us at 24537232 if you do not receive our letter by end of January, 2024.)
(D) Registration Arrangements
Successful Applicants
Parents should complete the registration procedures for their child from 4th to 6th January, 2024.
(“ Centralized Registration Dates”) by submitting the following documents
1) Notice for Admission
2) Original of the “2024/25 RC” to the kindergarten
3) Paying the registration fee
The registration fee for 2024/25 K1 place is HK$970 (half day class), HK1570 (whole day class)
Applicants on the waiting list
-We will inform the applicants on 20th -21th January, 2024 if we still have seats available.

(F) Notice to parents
If parents decide to change school after registration, please notify the kindergarten in writing. The kindergarten will return the “2024/25 RC” but the registration fee will not be refunded. Upon obtaining the “2024/25 RC”, the kindergarten will no longer keep the place for the child.
(G) Admission Arrangements for Nursery (K1) Classes in Kindergartens
If parents have any question about admission arrangements for nursery, can reference to website of Education Bureau.
Our school has Non-Chinese Teacher to provide support to Non-Chinese speaking parents and students. If necessary, the school can arrange translation services. If you have any enquiries, please call 2453 7232 or email lstttlkg@gmail.com to contact with us.
